Rhino Rack Car Awning Review - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer, and today we have the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The Sunseeker is gonna be the easier-style awning. If you want something that's quick and easy to set up where it doesn't take multiple people holding down the stakes and poles, that's where the square awning like this can come in handy. And here on our Silverado, we have it on our camper shell with the crossbars, and that's actually a really nice setup because we're able to maximize our awning and get as much shade as we can without spending as much effort to get that shade set up. So quick look at how this fits on our truck. The distance from our tire to the end of the awning, that's gonna be 80 inches of shade we're going to get. more

Thule HideAway Awning Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Thule hideaway awning. Now this is gonna be available in three different configurations depending on how it mounts up, and also two different sizes. Now today, we have this on our Flagstaff popup camper using the wall mount, and that makes it pretty universal as long as you have a solid mounting point for a wall that you can drill through and put brackets, it's gonna work. So for you car campers or overlanders, if you have a roof rack, there is an option available to mount up to that, or if you have a Ram ProMaster or a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and you're doing the van life, there's also specific mounts for those. So whether you're on a camping adventure, maybe tailgating your favorite sports team, this is gonna be a great option to really add a little bit of outdoor real estate, and that way, you can stay protected from a sweltering sun like we have today and just kind of be able to enjoy the outdoors without getting cooked by the sun. The awning is made from a waterproof fabric, which is gonna be great, because it's gonna hold up to elements long-term, and if there is a small drizzle that you wanna wait out instead of piling everyone back in the camper, you could sit here and let those sprinkles come down without worrying about that canvas getting damaged. more

Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning Review- Video
When it's hot, it's always nice to have a little spot to get out of the sun. It's a lot hotter out here than it is underneath the awning. So whether you are biking, maybe you're at a sporting event, tailgating, or maybe just overlanding somewhere in the middle of nowhere, well, the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning is gonna bring shade to you so you're not gonna be hot wherever you go. The nice thing about the awning compared to maybe just a stand-up tent, one, it's gonna be up on our roof and it's ready to rip, two, we don't have to put it on the inside of our vehicle, so it's not really taking up any more room on the inside. I really like that. And when it comes to the crossbars and the amount of space it takes up, only about an inch and a half, which is awesome because it's not really gonna limit you from all the other accessories you like to put up on your roof. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, here at etrailor.com, and today we are looking at our Rightline gear, SUV tailgate awning, here at etrailor. This is a great option if you are looking for something that is simple and quick and easy to install, as well as relatively affordable. We're here in etrailor's parking lot, and you can see how this awning creates some shade behind our SUV here. This is a great option for if you want to go tailgating or if you're at the ball game and you want to set up behind your vehicle, or even if you're at the beach and you just want a nice place to relax. This fits on all your SUV's that have a rear hatch just like this one, as well as your Jeeps, if they have these side hatch door. Even your smaller SUV's, like my Prius V, worked with it's smaller door, as long as you can wrap it around the hatch. more

Having an awning on your roof is really, really cool because a couple of times I'm at the tailgate, super hot outside and someone has an awning, that's usually the spot where I go. Also, if you are camping, maybe biking and just need a place to kind of cool off or if it starts raining on you, this will definitely come in handy. Or if you're just at some sort of sporting event. It's always gonna be nice to have that cool setup that everybody kinda wants to come and talk to you about. more

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SlimShady Awning. So this is going to clamp around your roof rack, whether you have a factory roof rack or an aftermarket one like we have. And this is gonna get you that shade that you want maybe after a long bike ride or maybe you're just out kinda overlanding and camping with some of your kiddos. They're getting a little hot, so you want a little nice shaded spot to kinda cool off and relax for a little bit. So this awning right here is the 30 square foot option, but we're gonna have a 42 square foot and also a 64 square foot, depending on how much shade you're really looking to get. more

Hey guys, it's Colin here at etrailer. Today, I want to take a little bit of time and show you guys this Thule HideAway Awning. This awning is going to mount to your vehicle, whether you want it permanently mounted there, or you can even mount it to the roof rack of your vehicle. And it's going to give you a nice and easy solution to get some shade from the sun or protection from the rain, whether you're tailgating, off-roading or even living that van life. Now, this awning's going to be 10 feet long by eight feet wide, which is going to provide us with 80 square feet of coverage. Now, with it mounted to the side of our vehicle, we're still not losing the ability to open up our doors.Now, when it comes to setting up your awning, personally, I think you should always angle it where it's sloped away from the vehicle. more

Rhino-Rack Batwing Compact Awning Review- Video
Colin: Hi everyone. I'm Colin, here at eTrailer, and today we're going to take a look at Rhino racks batwing compact awning.Now this awning mounts to the roof rack of your vehicle, provides you with shade from the sun, or protection from the rain for those social events like tailgates or farmers markets or anything like that. Now the reason they designed this compact awning, is because some customers wanted something a little bit smaller, they went to those events and realized they didn't have quite enough space for that big awning that took up 118 square feet. This awning's going to be taking up about 69 square feet and give you that shade you need during those events, and not take up that much space. It's also going to be a great option for your small to medium sized vehicle that might have a shorter wheel base.Now we give you guys a quick comparison on the right side, we're going to have the batwing compact, and on the other side, on my left side, we're going to have the original batwing.
